More than 600,000 American users lost power due to the storm

Power was cut off to more than 600,000 subscribers in the United States on Sunday morning, as a strong storm swept the country from Texas to its northeast, according to a website specialized in monitoring power outages.

The states of Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana recorded the largest number of damaged homes and commercial establishments, with more than 100,000 customers without power in each of them, after the storm caused snowfall and icy rain in parts of the region.
