Trump’s secret weapon to oust Maduro

US President Donald Trump said that a secret jamming weapon played a decisive role in the US military operation in Venezuela that led to the arrest of President Nicolas Maduro.
In an interview with the New York Post, Trump bragged about the weapon, which he referred to as a “jammer.” He said the jamming device “made (the enemy’s) equipment inoperable,” adding: “I’m not allowed to talk about that.”
The president stated that the tool disabled Venezuelan equipment, allowing Maduro to be arrested and preventing Venezuelan security forces from responding to the American attack.
He told the newspaper: “They were never able to launch their missiles. They had Russian and Chinese missiles, and they did not launch a single one of them. We entered, they pressed the buttons and nothing worked. They were completely prepared for us.”
Trump’s statements were supported by the testimony of one of Maduro’s guards, who indicated the use of what was described as a “secret weapon,” which caused several injuries, including nosebleeds and vomiting blood.
The guard said, according to what was reported by the American New York Post: “We were on guard duty and suddenly all of our radar systems malfunctioned, and drones appeared in abundance flying over our positions. We did not know how to react.” He added that eight helicopters landed 20 American soldiers equipped with advanced technology superior to conventional weapons, explaining that the attack was not a battle in the traditional sense, but rather described it as a “massacre.”
The guard pointed to the use of an unconventional weapon, explaining: “At one moment, they fired something that looked like an intense sound wave. I felt as if my head was exploding from the inside. We all started bleeding from the nose, and some of us fell to the ground, unable to move.”
In turn, a former American intelligence source told the New York Post that the United States has for years possessed “directed energy weapons” technology, which can cause symptoms such as bleeding, inability to move, pain or burning.
There are other explanations in the American press for the failure of the Venezuelan defense. The New York Times quoted American officials as saying that the advanced Russian air defense systems in Venezuela were not even connected to radar when American helicopters appeared over Caracas to arrest Maduro.
According to the report, Venezuela had difficulty maintaining Russian equipment. In addition, before Maduro’s arrest, the US military was said to have bombed sites where Russian Buk-M2 ground-based air defense systems were stationed or stored.
It is noteworthy that, on January 3, American forces transferred and detained Maduro and his wife, Celia Flores, during a military operation in Caracas and transferred him to the United States. He has since been charged in New York with drug crimes.
According to Venezuelan authorities, at least 100 people were killed in the operation, including Venezuelan and Cuban security officials. According to Washington, no American soldiers were killed.
