Launching an event " Diabetes challenge" Family in Dubai, February 8

Dubai, January 26 / WAM / The sixteenth session of the Family Diabetes Challenge 2026, one of the most prominent annual community health initiatives in the country, will begin in Dubai on the eighth of next February, organized by the Landmark Group in Zabeel Park, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, Al Jalila Foundation – the giving arm of Dubai Health, and the Emirates Health Services Corporation.

The event, which bears the slogan “We Step Together for a Better Tomorrow,” attracts community members from different groups and ages to participate in supporting national efforts aimed at enhancing community health and improving the quality of life.

This year’s event holds special national importance, as it is the first and largest of its kind as an initiative focusing on health, wellness and fitness for families to be held in the “Year of the Family”, highlighting the pivotal role that families play in building a healthier society in the long term.

This year’s “Diabetes Challenge” event includes participation in a 2-kilometre community walk, in addition to an integrated program of field family activities, including the distribution of healthy foods and snacks, fitness and sports activities for adults and children, free blood sugar and general health checks, vaccinations, health awareness sessions, and live entertainment shows.

The “Super Kids” program returns once again to encourage children to participate in fun, interactive educational activities, in addition to organizing the “Super Kids Writing Competition” in cooperation with the GEMS Education Foundation.
