Dubai is hosting "International Commodity Exchange Summit" Next Thursday

Dubai, January 26 / WAM / The Museum of the Future in Dubai will host the “International Commodity Exchange Summit 2026” next Thursday.
Government officials, food security agencies, agricultural product exporters, traders, and leaders of the logistics sector will participate in the summit, who will discuss the challenges facing food and commodity supplies at the global level within a strategic platform aimed at assessing risks and agreeing on practical measures to protect supply chains and reduce volatility.
Philippe Werle, Executive Director of the International Commodity Exchange, said: “The world no longer has the luxury of assuming that supplies of food and agricultural products will continue automatically. We are entering a phase that requires much closer cooperation between governments and actual markets. This summit aims to bring together all concerned parties, including exporters, importers, policy makers and traders, to prevent instability from turning into a crisis.”
The summit witnesses high-level participation from some of the most important agricultural and food importing countries in the world, officials from bodies and entities concerned with the food file in the Emirates, as well as commercial institutions and major market makers in the field of global food flows.
