How do Dubai residents spend their monthly income?

Recent figures showed that Dubai residents spend 40.68% of their monthly income on housing, electricity, water, gas and fuel, while they spend 11.66% on food and drink, and 9.32% on transportation.
Consumer figures data published by the Dubai Pulse (Digital Dubai) platform this January, regarding spending in November 2025, indicated that Dubai residents spend 8.15% on education, 6.1% on restaurants and hospitality services, 5.69% on information and communications, 5.1% on personal care, social protection, and miscellaneous goods and services, and 4.96% on clothing and shoes.
She pointed out that the percentage of spending on furniture, household equipment, and routine home maintenance is 3.51%, and on entertainment, sports and culture, 2.37%.
Dubai residents spend 1.26% of their income on insurance and financial services, 0.88% of their income on health, and 0.32% on tobacco and its products.
