The Princess of Wales attends an Irish Guards military parade

The day before yesterday, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, attended the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations organized by the Irish Guards at Mons Barracks in the city of Aldershot, continuing an annual tradition in which she is keen to participate as the honorary colonel of the regiment.

Middleton participated in the military parade ceremony, where she distributed shamrock branches to officers and members of the guard, a traditional symbol associated with this Irish occasion. It also presented medals to a number of soldiers. In appreciation of their distinguished service and efforts.
