The National Water Company confirmed that calculating the financial fees for water delivery services and Sewage is subject to strict regulatory standards based on the area of the property and the diameter of the connection, revealing details of the cost starting from 5,000 riyals for small residential plots, with easy installment programs available to beneficiaries to reduce financial burdens, in implementation of ministerial decisions and Cabinet decisions regulating the sector.

The company clarified that the mechanism adopted in determining fees is not discretionary, but rather a direct application of Cabinet Resolution No. “763” dated 30/ 11/1441 AH, which established the precise regulatory foundations for classifying real estate and calculating costs.

The company detailed the financial structure of fees, indicating that Residential lands with an area of 350 square meters or less are assigned a fee starting from 5,000 riyals, which is the minimum approved delivery cost.

The company indicated that properties with an area of more than 350 square meters are subject to a different calculation equation, where an additional tariff is calculated for every square meter in excess of the basic area, taking into account the maximum limits specified in the system.

The company noted that there are additional fees related to the multiplicity of units. Residential, where an amount of 1,000 riyals is added for each additional unit within one property, according to the provisions contained in the service provision guide.
