Dubai International Airport celebrates passengers arriving from the State of Kuwait

DUBAI, 30 JANUARY / WAM / Dubai Airports, operator of Dubai International Airport, announced that it will welcome passengers arriving from the sisterly State of Kuwait this week by organizing a series of special welcome moments at Dubai International Airport, in cooperation with the airport community oneDXB, in celebration of the “UAE and Kuwait Brothers Forever” week, which confirms the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the two countries.
Last year, Dubai International Airport received 1.6 million passengers from the State of Kuwait via 11,500 flights operated by four airlines, an indicator that reflects the strength of the air connection between the two countries and the depth of historical ties.
This welcoming initiative will be implemented across all passenger terminals, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Dubai Customs, Dubai Duty Free, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Emirates Airlines, the General Administration of Airport Security – Dubai Police, du and the “My ID” team.
The celebratory activities include customized arrival paths, special passport stamps, cultural performances, decorations bearing the character of this occasion in the passenger terminals, and digital screens that highlight the fraternal ties between the Emirates and Kuwait, in addition to various gifts that include shopping vouchers from Dubai Duty Free, SIM cards, and others, which contribute to providing a smooth and warm arrival experience for all guests coming from the State of Kuwait.
