The President awards the Chinese Ambassador the Zayed II Order, First Class

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, awarded the Zayed II Order, First Class, to Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the country, in appreciation of his pioneering efforts in strengthening friendly relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, handed the medal to the ambassador, while receiving him in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, His Highness stressed the depth of the strategic relations between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China, praising Zhang Yiming’s sincere efforts and his effective contributions to supporting and developing bilateral cooperation and the comprehensive partnership between the two countries in various fields.

For his part, Zhang Yiming expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him” for this honor, praising the well-established strategic relations between the two countries, and the leading position that the UAE enjoys at the regional and international levels.
