The President awards the Chinese Ambassador the Zayed II Order, First Class
ABU DHABI, 30 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, awarded the Order of Zayed II, First Class, to His Excellency Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the UAE, in appreciation of his pioneering efforts in strengthening friendly relations and strategic partnership between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, handed the medal to His Excellency the Ambassador, during his reception in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, His Highness stressed the depth of the strategic relations between the UAE and the People’s Republic of China, praising the sincere efforts of His Excellency Zhang Yiming and his effective contributions to supporting and developing bilateral cooperation and the comprehensive partnership between the two countries in various fields.
For his part, His Excellency Zhang Yiming expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him” for this honor, praising the well-established strategic relations between the two countries, and the leading position that the UAE enjoys at the regional and international levels.
