The country’s health authorities showcase a unified national health vision at the World Health Exhibition on February 9

Dubai, 1st February / WAM / The Ministry of Health and Community Protection, along with federal and local health authorities, is participating under the unified national platform “Emirates Health” in the World Health Exhibition WHX 2026, which is being organized during the period from 9 to 12 February this year in Expo City Dubai, in order to showcase an integrated national vision focused on building healthier lives and enhancing the quality of health well-being in a sustainable manner in the country.
The participation of health authorities in the UAE embodies a national commitment to building community health, by prioritizing prevention, applying innovation on a large scale, and enhancing national coordination to support sustainable growth, readiness, and prosperity.
The projects of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, along with federal and local health authorities, are integrated on one platform under the umbrella of “Emirates Health”. These entities include: the Emirates Drug Corporation, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Health Authority, the Sharjah Health Authority, and the Emirates Council for Integrative Medicine.
This collective attendance reflects a strategic national vision that focuses on enhancing community health, supporting prevention, and formulating sustainable health outcomes, in line with the country’s comprehensive development priorities, most notably the “UAE Centenary 2071.”
During the exhibition, participating entities highlight the national vision for health, which is based on prevention, preparedness, and enjoying a long life, supported by government directions in the field of health policies, regulatory, and governance of innovation and data.
This approach emphasizes the importance of protecting health at early stages, improving decision-making, and establishing quality of life as a sustainable national priority.
Within this participation, a number of national initiatives and projects will be highlighted that reflect the integration of policies, regulation and innovation in supporting community health, including: the smart platform for health policies and legislation, the behavioral insight platform supported by artificial intelligence, and the continued development of the national system for donation and organ transplantation, the data warehouse and the National Disease Registry system “Bayan”.
The presence of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and health authorities at the World Health Expo focuses on enhancing cooperation and exchanging knowledge with regional and international partners. The program includes participation in specialized workshops that discuss pivotal topics, including genomics, behavioral insight, medical responsibility, health adaptation, and adopting integrative medicine practices, in addition to signing a number of agreements with local and international bodies to support cooperation and continue developing health services.
These initiatives embody institutional integration in policies, regulation and innovation to enhance community health and improve health outcomes. By applying planning based on evidence-based approaches and data, the UAE continues to enhance efficiency, preparedness, and long-term health impact, supporting national priorities focused on prevention and preparing for the future.
The unified presence of the entities reflects a national approach in providing health services based on coordination, building trust, and employing responsible innovation. Digital tools, data, and advanced methodologies also support the contribution of the participating entities in implementing health policies, enhancing response capabilities, and improving customer experience and health outcomes, through coordinated national action.
World Health Expo 2026 is one of the most prominent global health gatherings, bringing together more than 4,300 exhibitors from more than 180 countries, along with hundreds of international experts and speakers. The exhibition provides a global platform for dialogue on innovation in health care delivery, emerging technologies, and policy cooperation, supporting knowledge exchange and building partnerships between health sector leaders around the world.
