His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, approved the development plan for the Umm Suqeim Beach project, extending over 3.1 kilometers and with an area exceeding 445 thousand square meters, with a value of 500 million dirhams.

His Highness said in a blog post on his account on the (X) platform: “We have approved the development plan for the Umm Suqeim Beach project, extending over 3.1 kilometers, with an area exceeding 445 thousand square meters, and with a value of 500 million dirhams, as part of the continuous work to develop the emirate’s infrastructure and improve the quality of life, by providing cultural spaces with an Emirati spirit and international standards of excellence.”

His Highness added: “The project aims to serve 6 million visitors annually, and we directed the team to take into account the needs of the elderly and people of determination, and to provide all requirements for night swimming and quality health and recreational activities. Dubai is beautiful with its people, ambitious with its pioneering projects, and distinguished by its beaches, and the quality of life of its residents, visitors and guests will always remain at the forefront of our priorities.”
