Environmental engineering students at Bahrain University of Technology complete a professional training program at Alba

Students of the Environmental Engineering Department at Bahrain University of Technology recently concluded their participation in a specialized professional training program organized by Aluminum Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), with the aim of obtaining the international IOSH Managing Safely certification, which is globally recognized in the field of occupational security and safety. This program comes within the framework of enhancing the culture of safety in industrial work environments, and qualifying students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to work efficiently and responsibly in this vital field.
The program included a series of practical workshops and interactive lectures that focused on the concepts of safety risk management at work sites, methods of accident prevention, and raising the level of awareness of occupational health, in accordance with the best practices and international standards adopted in the field of employee security and safety.
In this context, Dr. Hassan Al-Mulla, President of Bahrain University of Technology, stressed the importance of this qualitative cooperation with leading companies in the industrial and economic sector, praising Alba’s role in supporting the educational process and linking the academic aspect to practical application, saying:
