Financial transfers during the Eid al-Fitr holiday will be implemented starting March 23

Some banks informed their customers that local financial transfers “above 50 thousand dirhams,” which take place during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, will be implemented from March 23 onwards.

According to messages sent by these banks, “On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, any local transfer of more than 50 thousand dirhams, which was made between 19 and 21 March, will be executed on or after March 23.”

The banks advised their customers to arrange their transactions and financial transfers accordingly.

It is noteworthy that financial transfers of less than “50 thousand dirhams” are usually executed at the same time without delay during holidays, while large amounts above “50 thousand dirhams” are delayed, to be executed during official working days, according to the system in force in the banking sector in the country.
