An Emirati media delegation leaves today for the sisterly State of Kuwait

Dubai, February 1st, 2017 (WAM) – Organized by the Dubai Press Club, an Emirati media delegation will leave today for the sisterly State of Kuwait, on a visit aimed at strengthening media cooperation and exchanging experiences between media institutions in the two brotherly countries.

This visit comes within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to celebrate the established fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, to celebrate the fraternal and historical ties between the two countries, by organizing the “Emirati-Kuwaiti Media Party”, in the presence of the Minister of Information and Culture and the Minister of Culture. State for Youth Affairs in the State of Kuwait, Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi.

The participating Emirati delegation includes more than 100 media leaders and icons in the UAE, and includes an elite group of artists, producers, leaders of Emirati media and journalistic institutions, newspaper editors, and a group of writers, journalists, content makers, and influencers. The event also includes an elite group of the most important media and journalistic leaders and the most prominent writers, thinkers, and opinion makers in the State of Kuwait.

The visit’s program includes organizing the “Emirati-Kuwaiti Media Party”, various events, professional meetings, and field visits to a number of Kuwaiti media entities, in addition to discussion sessions that highlight best media practices and opportunities for future cooperation.
