The regulation aims to regulate water efficiency and rationalization activities in the urban, agricultural and industrial sectors, through issuing licenses and specifying the responsibilities associated with practitioners and service providers, and oversight mechanisms, in order to ensure the quality of services provided, Complying with approved standards and preserving the rights of beneficiaries.

He stressed that the licensing regulation is an integrated legislative and executive framework that enhances oversight and compliance, and ensures the application of the best technical standards, in order to achieve greater efficiency in the use of water resources and enhance their sustainability.
