Ajman Businesswomen Council organizes a forum "From challenge to impact: social entrepreneurship"
Ajman, February 2 / WAM / The Ajman Businesswomen Council at the Ajman Chamber organized an entrepreneurship forum under the title “From Challenge to Impact: Social Entrepreneurship as a Sustainable Solution”, with the aim of raising awareness of the role of social development and its impact on choosing economic projects, and promoting the concepts of women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship with a societal impact.
The forum, which was organized at the Ajman Youth Center, was part of a series of training and educational forums organized by the Council, to enhance the skills of women business owners and Council members, and enable them to develop sustainable projects.
Dr. Amna Khalifa Al Ali, President of the Ajman Businesswomen Council, confirmed that the forum embodies the council’s keenness to contribute effectively to the “Year of the Family 2026” by raising awareness of the impact of social entrepreneurship in supporting family stability and enhancing its cohesion, empowering women economically, and providing sustainable projects that take into account the social dimension and contribute to achieving balanced development that benefits the family and society.
Al Ali stressed the keenness of the Ajman Businesswomen Council to implement a series of training and educational forums and sessions aimed at developing the skills of its members, supporting them in the areas of marketing and management, preparing feasibility studies, and innovation and development, in a way that contributes to raising the readiness of businesswomen and enhancing their abilities to launch and develop successful projects with a sustainable economic and societal impact.
The forum – which was attended by women business owners and council members – discussed a number of main topics and discussion sessions that focused on social entrepreneurship and models of projects with balanced “economic, social and financial” dimensions.
