المملكة: In 5 countries…the King Salman Relief Center provides new food and medical aid
Launch King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, the fifth phase of the food basket distribution project in the Republic of The Saudi Noor Project Volunteer project to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in the city of Amman, the capital of Jordan, which will be held during the period from January 23 to 28, 2026 AD.
During the campaign, the center’s volunteer medical team examined (2,371) patients, distributed (400) medical glasses, and performed (394) specialized eye surgeries, all of which were crowned with complete success, praise be to God.
The medical project Volunteer
In Syria, the King Salman Center concluded the volunteer medical project for orthopedic surgery in the city of Damascus, which was held during the period from January 24 to 31, 2026 AD, with the participation of (16) volunteers from various medical specialties.
During the campaign, the Center’s volunteer medical team performed (45) surgical operations to replace joints (hip and knee), and carried out (31) specialized surgical operations for hand deformities, all of which were crowned with complete success.
The Center also launched the volunteer medical project for open-heart surgery in the city of Jakarta in the Republic of Indonesia, which will be held during the period from 1 to 8 February 2026 AD, with the participation of 20 volunteers from various medical specialties.
Open-heart surgeries
Since the beginning of the campaign, the volunteer team has performed 6 open-heart surgeries, all of which were crowned with complete success, praise be to God.
And in Yemen, the King Salman Relief Center distributed Yesterday (270) purchase vouchers enabled the beneficiary to purchase clothing in the Al-Sum District of Hadramaut Governorate, from which (270) displaced individuals in camps benefited, as part of the winter clothing distribution project in the Republic of Yemen (KNF) for the year 2026 AD.
This comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center; To face the severe cold wave during the winter in Yemen.
