Leaders, heads of government and personalities praise the message of the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity in consolidating the values ​​of coexistence and peace

On the occasion of celebrating the award’s honorees in its seventh session in 2026, leaders of states, heads of government and international figures expressed their deep appreciation for the global humanitarian role played by the award in consolidating the values ​​of peace, dialogue, and coexistence, and transforming humanitarian principles into a tangible impact that serves humanity and enhances stability.
This came in congratulatory messages received by the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity on this occasion.
The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, sent a video message to the award, in which he congratulated the honorees, praising the living humanitarian model they presented in which the principles of human brotherhood are translated into realistic actions, stressing that honoring the peace agreement between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia embodies a courageous choice for the path of peace, and demonstrates the ability of dialogue to turn the pages of the conflict, no matter how long it lasts.
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, also sent a congratulatory message in which he praised the profound moral message that the award carries, considering that honoring the peace initiative between Azerbaijan and Armenia represents clear evidence that reconciliation is not weakness, but rather an expression of political wisdom and moral strength, stressing his country’s continued support for peace and dialogue paths.
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, sent a video message in which he appreciated the award’s decision to honor the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, describing it as a courageous step with a regional and international impact, and a role model for resolving conflicts through diplomacy and building mutual trust.
For his part, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated the award recipients, noting that in light of the current challenges, the world is in dire need of responsible leaders capable of giving priority to dialogue over conflict, praising the pioneering role of the United Arab Emirates in supporting peace initiatives and transforming Abu Dhabi into a global center for dialogue.
In the same context, the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, sent a congratulatory message in which he expressed his support for peace efforts in the Caucasus region, congratulating the leadership of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the courageous steps they have taken to lay the foundations for lasting peace, and stressing his country’s readiness to continue supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing regional stability.
The President of the Lebanese Republic, Joseph Aoun, also sent a video message in which he congratulated those honored with the award, praising the humanitarian and development role of the Palestinian Cooperation Foundation, and the peace initiative between Azerbaijan and Armenia, stressing that political courage, when combined with sincere will, is capable of transforming conflict into an opportunity and building a more secure future.
At the level of heads of government, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, sent a congratulatory message in which he praised the wisdom of the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates and its global role in consolidating the values ​​of dialogue and tolerance, considering that the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity has become an effective international platform for humanitarian diplomacy and building bridges between peoples.
The First Lady of the Republic of Turkey, Emine Erdogan, also praised the role of the award in honoring inspiring humanitarian models, appreciating the honor of Ms. Zarqa Yaftali in recognition of her struggle for the education of women and girls, stressing that education is the cornerstone of preserving human dignity and building sustainable peace.
From international organizations, the Secretary-General of the International Organization of the Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo, sent a message in which she affirmed that education, especially girls’ education, represents a fundamental pillar of peace and human dignity, praising the honoring of Zarqa Yaftali as an international recognition of moral courage and human commitment.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity, Counselor Mohammed Abdel Salam, expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all international leaders, presidents and officials for their honorable messages and participation, which reflect their deep belief in the values of human brotherhood, and their keenness for the honorees to participate in the Zayed Prize for Human Fraternity this year 2026, stressing that these high congratulations reflect the advanced international standing that the award has now enjoyed, and its comprehensive humanitarian mission in supporting peace and consolidating Human brotherhood, and transforming noble values into effective courses of action that serve humanity.
