The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah receives the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala
Ras Al Khaimah, 6 February / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received today, at His Highness’s Palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City, His Excellency Carlos Ramiro Martinez, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guatemala, who is currently visiting the country, in the presence of His Excellency Jorge Rafael Arcilla Ruiz, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala to the country, and a number of senior officials.
His Highness welcomed His Excellency the Minister and the accompanying delegation, and discussed with him ways to strengthen cooperation relations in a way that serves common interests in various fields, especially economic, trade, and investment, and contributes to achieving greater prosperity and sustainable development.
His Highness praised the growing ties of friendship and the advanced partnership between the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the Republic of Guatemala, stressing their importance and pivotal role in enhancing development and growth opportunities in many vital sectors on both sides.
For his part, His Excellency Carlos Ramiro Martinez expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for his generous hospitality and warm reception, stressing his country’s keenness to strengthen cooperation relations with the UAE and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, praising the pioneering role and high status that the country enjoys at the regional and international levels.
