12 flights were canceled and 23 others were diverted to alternative routes due to the weather condition

A Dubai Airports spokesman said that the prevailing weather condition on Tuesday morning affected operations at both Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport, resulting in the cancellation of 12 flights and the diversion of 23 incoming flights to alternative routes.
The spokesman explained in a statement that Dubai Airports is working in close cooperation with airlines and service partners to ensure that any potential impact on travelers is reduced, and to accelerate the pace of restoring normal operations as soon as possible.
The spokesman called on travelers to check the status of their flights directly with the relevant airlines, and follow the latest developments before heading to the airport.
