المملكة: "Al-Maghlouth" Emphasizes the importance of championing the Palestinian cause through Arab media
On behalf of the Minister Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, Assistant Minister of Information participated in the work of the 22nd session of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, which was held today in Kuwait under the chairmanship of the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and the Acting Minister of Culture and Information of the State of Kuwait, Omar Al-Omar, and with the participation of the Ministers of Information and heads of media delegations of the Bureau’s member states.

The Assistant Minister of Information stressed the importance of continuing efforts aimed at developing joint Arab media work in various priority fields and topics, most notably the Palestinian issue, stressing the importance of continuing to advocate for it in all its political, humanitarian and legal dimensions, And intensifying its media coverage in the Arab media, with a focus on the centrality of the Palestinian issue to the Arab nation.
He praised the numerous achievements achieved with regard to the preparation and implementation of a number of plans and programs within the framework of Arab media work, which included the plan for Arab media action abroad to provide media support for the Palestinian issue and confront extremism and terrorism, the Arab media map program for sustainable development, the executive plan for the Arab strategy for media education, and the unified plan for dealing with environmental issues in the media.

He stressed the importance of continuing the efforts made to enhance Arab media work in a way that highlights the Arab personality and culture, encourages quality and professional excellence in the Arab media, raises the capabilities of Arab media professionals, makes the most of modern technologies, and employs artificial intelligence in a way that enhances professional ethics, credibility and transparency in Arab discourse.
The Assistant Minister of Information stressed the importance of encouraging media innovation in the digital content industry, and developing cybersecurity in Arab media institutions.
