board of directors "Pensions" Approves a strategic plan based on artificial intelligence

Abu Dhabi, 12 February / WAM / The Board of Directors of the General Pensions and Social Security Authority, headed by His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Board of Directors, reviewed the main achievements and results of the Authority’s distinguished institutional performance indicators during the year 2025, and approved the future strategic plan that aims to continue improving the social protection system in the country, during its first regular meeting for the year 2026.
The Council affirmed that the achievements of 2025 reflected pivotal progress in developing a work system that establishes a sustainable and integrated retirement system.
The Council also reviewed developments in the implementation of the Authority’s strategy for the years 2023-2026, which is based on ensuring the financial sustainability of retirement funds, enhancing the efficiency of their investment management, in addition to developing flexible policies and legislation that keep pace with economic and demographic changes.
His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri said that the exceptional results achieved during 2025, most notably the investment performance, upgrading the Authority’s services, and increasing the number of subscribers insured by the Authority, are the direct result of a clear and solid strategy based on financial sustainability, providing proactive services, and institutional flexibility, stressing that the Authority will continue to build on this success in the next phase, while harnessing advanced technology to enhance the economic and social impact and fulfill the Authority’s basic mission.
The Council reviewed the Authority’s comprehensive plan in the field of artificial intelligence for the period 2025-2029, which will be the main driver for enhancing operational efficiency, developing proactive citizen-centered services, and supporting decision-making based on accurate data.
During its meeting, the Council also discussed projects and initiatives related to the “Year of the Family” and the Authority’s pivotal role in improving the quality of life of retirees.
