المملكة: The third edition of the Makkah Halal Forum 2026 will start next Saturday


Under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, the third edition of the Makkah Halal Forum 2026, organized by the Manafea Initiative, will be launched under the slogan “Halal is a Professional Industry,” during the period from February 14 to 16 at the Bodies, organizations, and major local and international companies for more than 16 countries around the world.

Promoting the concept of the halal industry globally

The Makkah Halal Forum seeks to enhance confidence and integration of the concept of the halal industry in global markets, where leaders meet to shape the future of halal. The forum has succeeded, during previous years, in having an international influence and raising awareness of the opportunities in the halal industry, as well as expanding the space for international participation, and this year it is working to attract more specialists from leaders and decision makers, With the participation of a number of official representatives of countries, and a number of heads of chambers of commerce around the world.

The forum, in its third edition, is scheduled to witness the organization of a number of programs And dialogue sessions, bilateral meetings and workshops, and the forum aims to increase the number of trade agreements between local and international companies.

These efforts come in light of the rapid growth of the global halal industry, which reached a value of $2.42 trillion in 2023, with expectations that it will reach $3.36 trillion by 2028.

The choice of Mecca is due to To host the forum due to its sacred status and to consider it a destination for the Islamic world and a center that combines Islamic values with major economic activities, and gives the forum a pivotal role in building international consensus on the concepts and standards of the halal industry.

The forum offers a number of specialized and supportive programs for the halal industry; It includes entrepreneurship, commercial franchising, export and import, in addition to the Halal Experts Corner, which provides a preliminary assessment of the readiness of local and international companies to obtain the Halal certificate.

The forum comes within the objectives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to enhance the Kingdom’s position and its main role in the Halal economy, and support Saudi companies’ access to global leadership in this sector.
