DUBAI, 12 February / WAM / The Board of Directors of Emirates NBD Bank honored a new group of its Emirati employees, who obtained international accreditation certificates as Chartered Certified Accountants from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates NBD Group.

Patrick Sullivan, Chief Financial Officer of Emirates NBD Group, pointed out that the achievements of these employees represent a combination of academic excellence, discipline and flexibility required of future leaders in the financial sector. He said that Emirates NBD is still working on preparing talented Emirati competencies to assume leadership roles in the future.

The bank currently has 15 Emirati nationals who are certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), in addition to 3 Emirati nationals who are qualified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), in addition to a large number of other nationals seeking to obtain the ACCA qualification.
