401 million dirhams in Al Ansari Financial Services profits in 2025
Dubai, February 13 / WAM / Al Ansari Financial Services Group, listed on the Dubai Financial Market, recorded net profits after taxes amounting to about 401 million dirhams in the fiscal year 2025, compared to about 405.8 million dirhams in the previous year.
The company’s operating income during 2025 increased by 12% on an annual basis, reaching 1.29 billion dirhams, driven by the performance of most business lines, in addition to the consolidation of the results of the recently acquired “BFC Holding” group.
Al Ansari Financial Services expanded its physical presence during the year, and the total number of branches reached 444 branches by the end of fiscal year 2025, compared to 267 branches by the end of fiscal year 2024, a net increase of 177 branches, including 160 branches in Bahrain, Kuwait and India as a result of its acquisition of the “BFC Holding” group, and 17 new branches that were opened within the UAE.
The group completed the acquisition of BFC Holding Group during the second quarter of 2025, as its results were fully consolidated from the second quarter until the fourth quarter of the same year.
Total capital expenditures during the year amounted to 39 million dirhams, equivalent to about 3% of operating income.
Rashid Ali Al Ansari, Group CEO, said: “Despite the complexities of the business environment and the increased competition in the remittance market, we have succeeded in achieving strong growth, maintaining strong profit margins, and continuing to invest in the capabilities necessary to achieve sustainable value in the long term.”
He added: “Looking to the future, we continue to focus on accelerating the digital transformation agenda, maximizing the efficiency of the branch network after expansion, and realizing the benefits of integration resulting from the acquisition of the BFC Holding Group.”
