Gold rises as markets await US inflation data

Refresh Gold Today, recovering from its lowest level in almost a week , as investors awaited US inflation data for indications about the direction of interest rates.
Gold rose in spot transactions by 0.6% to $4,949.99 per ounce, but it lost by 0.2% since the beginning of this week.
