20 prosecutors take the legal oath before the President of the Federal Judicial Council

20 new public prosecutors were sworn in before Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Federal Judicial Council, and in the presence of Counselor Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi, Federal Attorney General, during an official ceremony held at the Ministry of Justice office in the capital, Abu Dhabi. This step comes after the issuance of the federal decree appointing the new batch, as an embodiment of the vision of the wise leadership aimed at empowering young national cadres and qualifying them to lead the future of judicial work.

The appointment of this batch reflects the state’s aspirations to consolidate its leadership and competitiveness through an advanced justice system based on the principles of complete justice and the rule of law.

In a precedent that reflects the qualitative development in qualification programs, this batch was distinguished by being the first in which all its members fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a master’s degree in law, within an integrated training and qualification program implemented by the Judicial Training Institute at the Ministry of Justice. This advanced academic track aims to hone the skills of prosecutors with specialized research and legal tools that keep pace with contemporary legislative challenges.

This batch also reflects the judicial system’s keenness to continue the path of excellence, by preparing a generation of prosecutors armed with science and knowledge, and capable of carrying out their duties in accordance with the highest standards of professional competence, which contributes to strengthening society’s confidence in the judicial system, and supports the state’s position as an advanced center for justice and legislative leadership.

The Federal Judicial Council continues its efforts to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system, and invest in national judicial competencies, which represents a fundamental pillar of the Federal Judicial Council’s strategy to raise the efficiency of institutional performance, especially in qualifying national cadres capable of keeping pace with legislative and judicial developments, and providing judicial services characterized by integrity and innovation, in line with the UAE’s ambitions to be the safest, most stable and rights-protecting environment.
