Declared Suspending two Umrah companies, after detecting a violation represented by failure to comply with providing according to the approved contractual programs.
She confirmed that it is being conducted in cooperation with took legal measures against the external agents contracting with the two companies.
The violating Umrah companies
It explained that it had noticed the arrival of a number of Umrah pilgrims from the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom without providing them with approved accommodation, despite documenting those services within the contractual programs, in clear violation of the regulations and instructions regulating the activity of services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.
The Ministry confirmed that it immediately took over Providing housing for all affected Umrah pilgrims, adding that the measures taken came immediately in accordance with the approved regulatory frameworks, ensuring the preservation of the rights of affected Umrah pilgrims, preventing the recurrence of such violations, and enhancing the quality of services provided to the guests of God. For Umrah pilgrims, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Ministry stressed that it will not tolerate any negligence or breach of contractual obligations, stressing that the rights of the pilgrims are a top priority, and that the quality of services provided represents a red line that is not allowed to be crossed.
It called on all Umrah companies and institutions to fully adhere to the approved controls and instructions, and to provide services according to the contracted programs.
