Aid in Yemen
On the other hand, yesterday, the Center distributed (100) cartons of dates in Wadi Amqin in Al Rawdah District in Shabwa Governorate, benefiting (600) individuals from the most needy families, as part of the date aid distribution project in the Republic of Yemen for the year 2026 AD.
It also continued to implement Water supply and environmental sanitation project in the districts of Medi, Haradh, Hiran and Abs in Hajjah Governorate.
During the period from 21 to 27 January 2026 AD in Hajjah Governorate, (901,000) liters of potable water were pumped, (11,187,000) liters of usable water were pumped, and (58) transports dedicated to removing waste from displacement camps were carried out.
In Saada Governorate, (97,000) liters of potable water were pumped, and (70,000) liters of usable water were pumped, benefiting (30,100) individuals.
Feeding Basket Project
In the same context, the center distributed (1,499) cartons of dates yesterday to the most needy groups in the areas of Abu Gurta, Umm Douma, Gokhani Buta and Jiravani Governorate. Al-Batha in the Republic of Chad, from which (8,994) individuals benefited, as part of a project to distribute (800) tons of dates in the Republic of Chad for the year 2026 AD.
While (75) food baskets were distributed to the needy in the Penang Ranti neighborhood in the east of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, from which (314) individuals benefited within a project "Feeding basket" In the Republic of Indonesia for the year 2026 AD.
The King Salman Center also distributed (3,000) cartons of dates yesterday in the city of Guarulhos in the Federal Republic of Brazil, benefiting (375) families from the host community, refugees and immigrants of different nationalities such as Syria, Egypt, Mozambique, Haiti, Morocco, Lebanon, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Tunisia, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Burundi, Angola, South Africa, Togo, Nigeria, Somalia, Gambia, and Kenya, as part of a project to distribute (200) tons of dates in Brazil.
Basic Foodstuffs
The day before yesterday, the Center distributed (200) food baskets in the city of Fos Kosovo in the Republic of Kosovo, benefiting (1,000) individuals (200) families, within a project "Feeding basket 5" In Kosovo for the year 2026 AD.
This comes as an extension of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center; To help needy and affected groups in various parts of the world.
It is noteworthy that the project aims to distribute (8,017) food baskets, which contain basic foodstuffs, and will benefit – God willing – (40,000) individuals in (30) provinces in Kosovo.
