"Dubai Games" The global competition is ignited with the conclusion of the City Challenge qualifiers and the strongest qualify for the finals

Dubai, February 14, 2026 – The third day of the Dubai Games 2026, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, concluded with two rounds of the City Challenge, with the participation of teams representing 56 cities from around the world.
The third day of the tournament, which is organized in an official partnership with Dubai Ports World (DP World), a diamond partnership with the Damac Group, the Beyond Real Estate Development Company and the Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emirates), and a strategic partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, recorded strong competitions during which the teams sought to obtain the largest number of points, which are awarded based on the quality of performance in addition to the speed of completing the challenges.
The four teams with the highest points were able to qualify for the finals and compete to win the championship title. The list of finalists included Kutna Hora from the Czech Republic with 156.76 points, Moscow from Russia with 156.75 points, Montreal from Canada with 154.03 points, and Czarny Donajek with 152.95 points.
The qualified teams benefited from the additional points they obtained in the Tower Challenge, as the points they reserved in the challenge contributed to deciding their result and qualifying for the finals tomorrow, Sunday, February 15.
Based on the growing status of the World Championship as one of the most prominent City Team Challenge tournaments, and as a result of the increasing international interest, the organizing committee decided to expand the scope of the awards to include the top ten place holders, in a move aimed at stimulating international participation by honoring the efforts of international teams and their ability to think strategically and work in a team spirit to overcome challenges.
