Grammy-winning artist Richard Marx heads to Dubai for debut act

Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Richard Marx will perform in the Middle East for the first time, bringing four decades of chart-topping hits to the stage at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on October 3.

The multi-platinum recording artist has sold over 45 million albums, amassed one billion streams, and crafted fourteen No. 1 singles that have become the soundtrack to countless lives around the world.

Marx is the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach the Top 5 on the Billboard charts, and one of only two artists, alongside Michael Jackson, to write a No. 1 song in four different decades.

His timeless hits as a performer include Right Here Waiting, Hazard, Hold On to the Nights, and Satisfied, whilst his songwriting and production credits feature career-defining tracks for Luther Vandross, Keith Urban, *NSYNC, Barbra Streisand and Kenny Rogers.

Earlier this year, Marx released his brand-new album After Hours, blends beloved Great American Songbook standards with originals written in the same era-evoking spirit, featuring collaborations with legends including Rod Stewart on Young at Heart, saxophone icon Kenny G on Big Band Boogie, and world-renowned trumpeter Chris Botti on the jazz-infused ballad All I Ever Needed.

The Dubai concert promises an unforgettable evening showcasing his illustrious career, from beloved classics that defined an era to fan favourites that continue to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Speaking on his performance, the artist said that he “couldn’t be more excited and looking forward to playing in Dubai for the very first time. The band and I will make sure it’s a night to remember”.

Tickets for the concert are available on the Coca-Cola Arena’s official website
