The Ruler of Ajman receives the President of Cairo University
Ajman, February 17 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, received today at the Amiri Diwan the President of Cairo University, Dr. Muhammad Sami Abdel Sadiq, within the framework of enhancing academic cooperation.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman welcomed the President of Cairo University and his accompanying delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. The meeting reviewed ways to enhance scientific and research cooperation and exchange knowledge experiences for the benefit of both sides.
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi stressed the depth of the historical and fraternal relations linking the United Arab Emirates with the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the constant keenness to develop prospects for cooperation in various fields, especially in the higher education and scientific research sector, which are considered a solid foundation for sustainable development.
His Highness added that investing in science and minds is a winning bet to create a bright future, and we in Ajman pay great attention to developing the higher education system through exchanging educational experiences and openness to prestigious academic institutions such as Cairo University, in a way that enhances the quality of academic outputs.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, representative of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for Administrative and Financial Affairs, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Majid bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chief of the Court of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman, and a number of officials.
For his part, the President of Cairo University and his accompanying delegation expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for the warm welcome and reception, praising the educational development witnessed by the Emirate of Ajman, and the supportive and encouraging environment it provides for academic excellence.
