Ajman Municipality confirms its readiness to receive Ramadan

Ajman, 17 February / WAM / The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department announced its readiness to receive the holy month of Ramadan and confirmed the continuation of providing its services during the announced times, while intensifying inspection campaigns on food establishments in the emirate, all sales outlets, shopping centres, restaurants, popular kitchens, food factories, sweet shops and bakeries, in line with the directions of Ajman Vision 2030 aimed at creating a civilized environment that enhances the emirate’s attractiveness. And the quality of life there, in line with the strategic objectives of the department.
On this occasion, the department indicated the continued supervision of food establishments throughout the holy month, as part of its constant keenness to preserve the health and safety of the consumer, and to ensure the provision of safe and healthy food for everyone in the emirate.
The department explained that the customer happiness centers will open their doors to the public from nine in the morning until two thirty in the evening from Monday to Thursday, while continuing to provide their services via the video communication channel “Qareeb” and instant chat on Friday from nine in the morning until twelve in the afternoon.
The department confirmed that the Ajman Central Butchery will operate from Monday to Thursday in two shifts, the first starting from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon, and the evening period extending from eight thirty in the evening until eleven thirty in the evening. Work begins on Friday in the first period from nine in the morning until twelve in the afternoon, with the second period starting from eight thirty in the evening until eleven thirty in the evening, and work in the slaughterhouse continues on Saturday and Sunday from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon.
Regarding the Manama abattoir, the department indicated that it will be open from Saturday to Thursday from eight in the morning until one thirty in the afternoon, and on Friday from eight in the morning until twelve in the afternoon.
The Masfout slaughterhouse announced its working hours during the holy month, working from Saturday to Thursday from nine in the morning until four in the evening, while its work continues on Friday in two periods, the first starting from nine in the morning until twelve in the afternoon, and the second period lasting from two in the afternoon until four in the afternoon.
The department indicated that the working hours of paid parking lots during the holy month of Ramadan will be in two periods: The morning period starts from nine in the morning until one in the afternoon, and the evening period starts from eight in the evening until twelve midnight, all days of the week except Friday and official holidays.
The department reviewed the working hours of the parks, which are open to everyone from four in the evening until one in the morning, seven days a week.
As part of its preparations for the holy month, the department decorated the streets, bridges, squares and parks with illuminated panels in the city of Ajman and the Manama and Masfout regions, with approximately 1,500 illuminated panels, to create a spiritual atmosphere that reflects the joy of the occasion.
The department congratulated residents and visitors on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, asking God Almighty to bring it back to everyone with goodness, right and blessings.
