The Saudi stock market index fell 0.5% at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading


The Saudi stock market index opened () traded today, Wednesday, with a decrease of 0.5% at the level of 11,039 points, with a traded value of 144 million riyals.

According to "TadawulSaudi Arabia"The volume of shares traded amounted to about 9.3 million shares, and the market value was 9.381 trillion riyals.

Shares of 191 companies declined

Early trading witnessed a decline in the shares of 191 companies, compared to an increase in the shares of 41 companies out of a total of 268 companies listed on the main market.

The shares of: Sahl, Al-Aseel, Al-Omran, Al-Istithmar REIT, and Saudi Kayan were the most rising, while the declines were led by the shares of: Yansab, MBC Group, Reya, STC, and Taiba.

Parallel Market

The Parallel Market Index rose (Growth) at the beginning of Wednesday trading by approximately 0.1% at the level of 23,568 points. The traded value reached 330.3 thousand riyals, the quantity of shares was 16.8 thousand shares, and the market value was 40.5 million riyals.

The shares of 7 companies rose at the beginning of the session, while the shares of 4 companies fell, out of a total of 125 companies listed on (Nomu).
