In a way that contributes to supporting the concerned authorities and enhancing the safety and comfort of those visiting the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

The CEO of the National Center of Meteorology, Dr. Ayman bin Salem Ghulam, explained the Center’s complete readiness for the season, stressing the continuation of close coordination and follow-up with various relevant authorities, and working according to an operational plan that ensures monitoring the atmosphere around the clock in Mecca, Medina, airports, ports, and highways leading to them, using the latest meteorological technologies and programs.

Special meteorological bulletins

The monitoring system includes observatories distributed throughout the Kingdom, weather radars, satellite images, and the Saudi numerical model for weather forecasts, in addition to manned observatories and automatic and mobile stations managed by qualified specialists, which enhances the accuracy of information and the speed of issuing reports and early warnings.

The operational plan during the Ramadan season focuses on issuing special meteorological bulletins. timings, providing accurate coverage of the atmosphere of the Two Holy Mosques, displaying weather forecasts on the roads via information signs, in addition to providing real-time weather information and ten-day forecasts via the application. "Anwaa"And technical connectivity with smart applications such as "Asceticism" and"We trust"; To facilitate the access of information to beneficiaries.

The readiness plan also included raising the level of performance at the center’s observatories at the Kingdom’s airports. To ensure the safety of air navigation and optimal handling of the expected density of flights during the holy month, and to harness 14 various media platforms to ensure the rapid delivery of weather information and warnings, in a way that enhances awareness and readiness, and contributes to achieving the highest standards of security and safety.
