Oil continues to rise with the ambiguity of the talks between America and Iran

Oil prices continued to rise on Thursday, as the United States and Iran sought to ease tensions in talks over Tehran’s nuclear program, while the two sides intensified their military activity in the main oil production region.
And Oil prices rose more than 4% on Wednesday, hitting their highest levels since January 30, as traders took into account the risk of supply disruptions in the event of a war between the United States and Iran.
Iranian state media reported that the country closed the Strait of Hormuz for a few hours on Tuesday, without clarifying whether the waterway had fully reopened. About 20% of the world’s oil supplies pass through this strait.
Meanwhile, two-day peace talks ended in Geneva between Ukraineand Russia on Wednesday without achieving any breakthrough, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of obstructing US-brokered efforts to end the 4-year war.
