Airbus announces a rise in its profits in the last quarter of 2025

European aircraft manufacturer Airbus announced today that its profits increased during the last quarter of 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year.
Airbus said its net income, attributable to shareholders, in the fourth quarter rose 6 percent year-on-year to 2.6 billion euros ($3.04 billion).
Earnings per share rose by 7 percent to 3.27 euros. Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes increased 17 percent to 2.98 billion euros. Revenues amounted to approximately 26 billion euros, an increase of 5 percent from the previous year.
Net income for fiscal year 2025 increased by 23 percent to 5.2 billion euros. Earnings per share amounted to 6.61 euros, compared to 5.36 euros.
Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) grew by 33 percent to €7.1 billion, and revenues rose by 6 percent to €73.4 billion, driven by a 15 percent increase in defense-related revenues.
