The representative of the Nigerian Parliament in Zamfara Governorate, northwestern Nigeria, confirmed in a statement on Friday that They launched a large-scale attack on the village of Tungan Dutse on Thursday evening and until Friday dawn, killing about 50 people, kidnapping a number of women and children, in addition to burning many buildings and shooting residents who tried to flee.

This attack comes in light of the escalation of violence in northwestern Nigeria, which in recent years has witnessed repeated attacks by armed groups targeting villages and kidnapping civilians.
