Disturbances to Emirates Airlines flights due to a snow storm hitting New York

Emirates Airlines announced that a number of its flights to New York City and Newark Airport in the United States have been affected, as a result of the expected weather conditions and the snow storm hitting the region.
The carrier explained in an update on its website today that the snowstorm led to the cancellation and rescheduling of a number of flights, as part of operational procedures aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers and air crews.
Canceled flights
EK203 on February 22: Dubai – New York (JFK)
EK204 dated February 23: New York (JFK) – Dubai
EK209 on February 22: Athens – Newark (EWR)
EK210 on February 23: Newark (EWR) – Athens
Rescheduled flights
EK202 (February 22):
Departing from New York (JFK) at 18:00 local time, arriving in Dubai at 15:25 on 23 February.
EK201 (February 23):
Departing from Dubai at 14:30 local time, arriving in New York (JFK) at 19:55 local time.
EK206 (February 22):
Departing from New York (JFK) at 20:00 local time, arriving in Milan at 09:35 on 23 February.
EK205 (February 23):
Departing from Milan at 18:40 local time, arriving in New York (JFK) at 21:55 local time.
Emirates Airlines called on passengers affected by flight cancellations to contact their travel agencies to rebook, while customers who made their reservations directly through the carrier were asked to contact the company for assistance.
The company also confirmed that passengers affected by the rescheduling of flights, especially those with connecting flights through Dubai, will be automatically rebooked until their final destinations, with the need to monitor the status of flights on a regular basis to see the latest schedules.
The carrier asked all passengers to ensure that their contact information is updated through the “Manage Reservation” service to ensure receiving the latest developments
