Al Salloum: Saudi Founding Day embodies the depth of historical brotherhood and the solid strategic partnership between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Representative Ahmed Al-Saloum, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to the leadership and people of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of Saudi Founding Day, stressing that this national occasion does not only represent a historical memory for the Kingdom, but rather represents an important milestone in the history of the entire region, because of its indications of the depth of political and civilizational stability that has extended for more than three centuries and contributed to consolidating the foundations of security and development in the Arabian Gulf.
Al-Salloum pointed out that Bahraini-Saudi relations are an exceptional model in relations between countries, as they are based on solid historical roots that preceded the establishment of modern countries, as they were formed through ties of brotherhood, neighborhood, and social and economic overlap since the establishment of the first Saudi state, and continued through various historical stages until today it has become an integrated strategic partnership in various fields. He explained that historical facts confirm that communication between the leadership of the two countries and their people was never the result of immediate political interests, but rather the product of a deep social and cultural extension that contributed to consolidating the concept of a common destiny.
He stressed that what brings the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia together today goes beyond traditional diplomatic relations, to reach the level of true integration in the economy, energy, investment, food security and development, noting that joint projects and continuous coordination between government institutions in the two countries reflect a unified vision for the future of the region based on stability and sustainable growth. He added that the Bahraini and Saudi markets constitute a close economic system, where the movement of trade, investment and tourism is continuously enhanced, which reflects positively on the well-being of citizens in the two brotherly countries.
Al-Salloum praised the direct care and attention that these relations enjoy from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, and his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who laid the foundations for an advanced stage of strategic cooperation based on trust and continuous coordination, which contributed to enhancing security and stability and consolidating common interests between the two countries.
He also praised the pivotal role played by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his brother His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through development initiatives and major economic projects that strengthened the paths of integration between the two countries, and opened broader horizons for cooperation in the fields of investment, infrastructure, energy, and modern industries, keeping pace with global economic transformations and serving the aspirations of future generations.
Al-Salloum concluded his statement by emphasizing that Saudi Founding Day embodies the story of an ancient country that maintained its stability and progress. It also embodies, at the same time, the story of a strong fraternal relationship between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, a relationship created by historical ties and consolidated by common positions, and which will remain a basic pillar for strengthening joint Gulf action and achieving more prosperity for the peoples of the region.
