"Ajman Cooperative" Agree to distribute 8% cash dividends and 10% returns to shareholders
Ajman, February 22 / WAM / The Ajman Consumer Markets Cooperative Society agreed to distribute cash dividends of 8% and a return on shareholders’ purchases of 10% for the fiscal year ending 2025.
This came during the General Assembly meeting in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, members of the Board of Directors, and members of the Association, along with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Department of Economic Development, and the external auditor, where the meeting reviewed the financial and operational results and future aspirations of the Association.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi stressed that the positive results reflect the success of the policies and procedures followed thanks to the directives of the wise leadership, pointing to the “Ajman Cooperative’s” continued commitment to developing branches, enhancing quality partnerships, and launching initiatives that support profits and maximize the benefit for shareholders and the local community.
He explained that the pricing strategy, which included fixing the prices of 250 goods and launching the “Lowest Price Guarantee” initiative for some products to support the needs of shoppers, contributed to increasing the number of contributing shoppers by approximately 40%, from 1,650 to 2,270 shoppers, which enhanced operational revenues and loyalty to the brand.
He explained that the administration has approved its future plans, which include enhancing digital transformation and raising the efficiency of electronic services, developing all branches of the association and rehabilitating them in the appropriate investment manner, in addition to developing loyalty programs and returns to shareholders, and investing in qualifying national cadres to lead the next stage, in a way that ensures sustainable growth and raises the level of quality and competitiveness.
