A 6-magnitude earthquake strikes the southern Fiji Islands in the South Pacific Ocean

Hit An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale, today, south of the Fiji Islands, located south of Pacific Ocean.

The United States Geological Survey said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 653.8 kilometers.

There have been no reports so far of human casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake.
