المملكة: The penalty reaches 100 thousand riyals.. 5 people were arrested for violating the environmental law


Special Forces for Environmental Security Two residents of Yemeni nationality who violate the environmental regulations, for exploiting sediments in the Imam Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Royal Reserve, and regulatory procedures were applied against him, and the forces confirmed that the penalty for grazing camels is a fine (500) riyals for each body.

In the same context, the Environmental Security Special Forces arrested two citizens violating the environmental system, for committing two violations of cutting fences and entering a protected area without a license in the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve.

The forces explained that The penalty for cutting or destroying the fences of protected areas is up to (100,000) riyals, with the violator being obligated to remedy the damages and pay compensation, and the penalty for violating protected areas without a license is a fine of (5,000) riyals.
