His statement to the consulate on the X platform stated: "Within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ keenness to care for and serve Saudi citizens abroad, and based on the tasks assigned to it, the Consulate today handled the case of a citizen and transported him via medical evacuation plane from the city of Istanbul to the Kingdom to complete his treatment."
She added: "He was accompanied to the airport by the head of the Saudi Affairs Department at the consulate".
