A member of the “Sustainability” bloc to run in the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections in its 31st session, Yousef Salah Al-Din, stressed the importance of forming a committee specialized in Bahraini pearls and gold in the “Chamber”, considering these industries an important part of our heritage and national identity.

He pointed out, in interventions on the sidelines of the meeting organized by the Kano Council yesterday for media professionals, that the bloc seeks to strengthen the organizational structure of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, by increasing the number of committees, which were reduced to 10 committees, compared to 26 committees previously.

Salah Al-Din added that the legacy of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry extends for more than 85 years, a history that carries economic and national value, pointing out that the bloc’s responsibility is to enhance this legacy and protect the interests of merchants and consumers alike as they are an integral part of the national economy.
