He said that the initiative relies on a quick and simple digital questionnaire that uses interactive icons to determine the level of an individual’s carbon footprint and classify it into the levels of “excellent,” “good,” or “poor.” He pointed out that once the answers are completed, the result appears immediately to classify the participant’s environmental performance into these three levels.

He added that the task is not limited to diagnosis only, but the program provides practical guidance to continuously improve environmental behavior and develop it for the better. Interaction with participants continues via email or the “WhatsApp” application to send awareness messages on World Environment Days.

He continued that the initiative encourages simple practices, such as walking to mosques or using bicycles for short distances instead of total reliance on cars.

He pointed out that the association aims to spread environmental culture in schools and markets through interactive screens, stressing that the project is still in the development stage to ensure the efficiency of the desired behavioral change is achieved.

He stressed Al-Ajami emphasized the vital role of the media and educational institutions in spreading environmental culture among various segments of society, noting that the association aspires to expand the scope of the initiative to include schools, markets, and shops through interactive screens that motivate everyone to measure their environmental impact.
