Medvedev wins his second title in “Dubai Tennis” after Grikspor withdrew

Russian Daniil Medvedev won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship for men in the 500 points category, his second title in the tournament in four years, after announcing that he had won the title today, Saturday, following the withdrawal of Dutchman Talon Grekspor due to injury.

Grikspor had suffered an injury to the left posterior thigh muscle during his match against Russian Andrey Rublev in the semi-finals on Friday, before medical tests confirmed that he was not ready to compete in the final match of the men’s 500 points tournament.
