The Head of State receives a phone call from the German Chancellor, during which they discuss developments in the region

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Friedrich Merz, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, during which they discussed developments in the region in light of the dangerous military escalation there and its repercussions on regional and international security, and they exchanged views on it, in addition to the blatant Iranian attacks on the lands of the UAE and a number of sister countries.

During the call, the German Chancellor affirmed Germany’s position rejecting the Iranian attacks on UAE territory and its solidarity with the UAE in confronting these attacks and the violation they represent of its sovereignty, the principles of international law, and the United Nations Charter.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan thanked President Friedrich Merz, may God protect him, for Germany’s position in support of the UAE.
