The Air Defense Force was able to respond to a drone attack on the Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced that the Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base was targeted by a drone.

The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted the Ministry of Defense as saying in a statement that the Kuwaiti Air Defense Force was able to successfully confront and deal with the threat within the integrated air defense system to protect the airspace of the State of Kuwait and preserve its sovereignty.

The statement added that the dealing process was carried out in accordance with the approved operational plans and procedures and with high efficiency, reflecting the level of readiness and capabilities enjoyed by the air defense units and the existing integration between the various formations of the armed forces.
